Places to visit
You don’t need to go far from Lamarth Farm to find some of Cornwall’s best beaches, stunning views, delicious food and exciting activities. Below are our nearest town and villages, and then a list of other places you might like to adventure to… but it’s not a comprehensive list, because the best thing about our little corner of Cornwall are all the secrets waiting to be discovered…
Helston
Our nearest town, home to the world famous Flora Day where ladies and gents dance in top hats, tails and ball gowns through the streets and houses. Has everything you need, including supermarkets and restaurants. And it’s really very pretty too.
Gunwalloe
Our nearest little village, with thatched cottages, farm produce stalls and a play park with an amazing view. Head on down through the village to find the Halzephron Inn and finally Church and Dollar Cove, settings for Poldark episodes and famous for lost treasure.
Mullion
The next largest village, with two pubs, some decent shops and a stunning Golf Course. Horse riding, kayaking, surf school… it’s all here. On the way to Mullion you’ll pass Poldhu Cove - home to Poldhu Beach Cafe - and then further still you’ll find the idyllic Mullion Cove (another one you might recognise from film and TV).
